Windows 10 – TAP problem Fix

  1. Click the Windows icon on the bottom left and click the gear to open Windows Settings. Click Network & Internet.
  2. Click Change adapter options.
  3. Look for the adapter that has TAP-Windows Adapter V9 in the description. By default it is named Ethernet 2.
  4. Right click the adapter and click Properties.
  5. Select item Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
  6. Click Advanced… on the bottom.
  7. Untick Automatic metric and then tick it again. Click OK. Click OK.
  8. Untick Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Click Close. Right click the adapter again, click Properties. Tick Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Close again.
